After doing an extensive search and checking almost every mobile PDF viewer available for Symbian OS, I finally found AlternateReader (aka “alternatedjvu”). It really works, has no annoying problems, and at top of all: it is *free* and *open source*! Get it now.

 

AlternateReader is a DjVu & PDF reader app for Symbian OS 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4 (s60v5) and is based on Poppler, DjvuLibre.

In December of the last year (not long ago ;) ), I attended 7DX Demo Party in İstanbul (as I also did in 2009 and 2008). So, this was the 3rd time I attend this event, but this time something neat happened:

My entry “Puppets’ Show” won 3rd place at music compo. 8-) Well, not a bad result for me. Listen to and download the track in mp3 format with following link:

This was the last beautiful happening of 2010 personally and also left me a memorable, musically very useful, helpful prize: Logitech S-220™ Speaker System
